Who am I and why should you listen to me?
Confession time. I’m one of those annoying people who was born organised.
I am the envy of my friends because I can always locate everything I own at the drop of a hat. My home is super organised with a place for everything and everything in its place. It can drive my husband nuts, but being incredibly ordered is just second nature to me. That’s why I was shocked working as an executive assistant and bookkeeper when I saw just how much my clients’ disorganisation was costing them. They’d waste frustrating hour after hour every week trying to locate important documents. You see, it was because their paper systems were virtually non-existent or very inefficient. In fact, many of them ended up copping fines from the Australian Taxation Office due to late lodgments because they couldn’t locate important documents. As a result, I’ve also had many distressed people come to me after missing out on the Federal Government’s 2009 stimulus package.
It’s because they failed to get their tax return in on time the year before.
But listen, it’s not just the financial cost. There’s also the unnecessary stress and tension their disorganisation places on them and in turn their families.
You see, when you’re stressed a lot of the time it can take a toll on your health and wellbeing and you tend to take it out on your loved ones.
I began to realise that not everyone had the time or the know-how to set up streamlined systems that allowed them to live their lives with order and efficiency.
If that sounds like you, it’s not your fault. Some people are born with this skill, some aren’t.
That’s why I decided to expand my administration and bookkeeping service… and draw on my previous three years experience as in the interior design industry … and offer a unique organisational service for the home or office. It means that you can take advantage of MY organisational abilities to bring more order, serenity and peace of mind into your life. That way you’ll have more time to do what you are good at.
It’s hugely rewarding for me to see the relief and personal satisfaction my clients experience once I’ve been able to inject order and harmony into their life.
When I’m not organising someone else’s belongings, you can usually find me at home organising my family’s belongings – my favourite past-time. My passion for organising is such that even in my spare time I chose to organise! I can honestly say that I enjoy going to work everyday and providing a service that I love to do. I will help you to get more organised!
